Over a period of several years I have been
trying to clean up my humor. In the process I have discarded some of my
funniest stuff-but it had to go!
(Now and then, I slip up and let something through that should be
discarded, but I am getting pretty good at cleaning up my humor.)
I have discarded humor that is vulgar, crude, demeaning, sick, cutting,
ethnic, ridiculing, or tawdry.
(I have no idea what "tawdry" means, but I think you will agree that we
do not want to be involved with humor that is tawdry!) |
