A Texan was driving through Georgia and he
stopped for gas at a little country store. Attempting to be neighborly,
he asked the man putting gas in his car, "Is this your store?" The man
answered, "Nope, It belongs to Jake. I'm just fillin' in while he goes
home to eat. I'm a farmer."
The Texan asked, "How big is your farm?"
He said, "It's pretty big. I guess it would take me about two hours to
walk from one side to the other."
The Texan said, "I'm from Texas! I've got a farm in Texas! It takes me
all day long to drive my pickup truck from one side of my farm to the
other."
The feller' said, "I know what you mean. I used to have a truck like
that." |
